ABOUT ME
I am Gabriella Tasi, a teacher of English and Hungarian languages.
I graduated a long, long time ago in Eger at the teacher training college, and that was the time when I decided to do English in my life.
I gained teaching experience at several language schools, then came 4 years of work in England. After returning home I spent more than 10 years in a multinational environment.
I have always worked in supporting positions, and I still consider it highly important to create a supporting and motivating learning environment for my clients and to have a good time while working together.
I regularly take part in training, either in workshops or in MOOCs, and I constantly seek new methods and devices to help my clients' language acquisition. In 20016 - just like in 1999 - I passed Cambridge Proficiency Exam with a 'B', and since then I have placed emphasis on keeping my knowledge up-to-date.
My main profile is language mentoring which emphasizes the client's success. I help my students establish new, focused learning practices, which enables them to improve their knowledge more independently.
Apart from mentoring I also teach English for job hunting. During these sessions, we practice not only the most frequent job interview questions, but also map the professional strengths, check the CV and the cover letter, and have a look at the most frequent expressions and phrases.
